You can also use this site to creat banners for advertising. Maybe you design websites for others, now you can add some nifty effects like gloss and reflections without even breaking a sweat.
While not free, membership to this site is so cheap that chances are you already have this amount in your Paypal account. You probably want to hurry and sign up though cause he may decide to up the price once he starts adding extra features, which as far as I understand, are in the works.
Fair warning though, if you like word art type programs this can be quite addictive as you try out all the different things you can do. .
